Group The Phobos ransomware group has framed VX-Underground, a malware sharing collective, for distributing their malware. VX-Underground has since denied the accusations and announced it has begun an internal investigation to identify the source of the malware. The collective says it does its best to screen out malicious code and encourages members to vet code before using it. VX-Underground is committed to taking the necessary steps to avoid a similar incident in the future.
